Per il quarto anno consecutivo On the Road Film Festival \/ Cinema Detour \u00e8 orgoglioso di ospitare O!PLA across the borders, una selezione di straordinari corti d’animazione contemporanea di giovani autori della grande scuola polacca. Si tratta di un progetto indipendente di animazione d’autore rivolto a un pubblico dai 16 anni in su. Quest’anno il pubblico avr\u00e0 la possibilit\u00e0 di incontrare in sala il creatore e direttore artistico di O!PLA, Piotr Kardas. 
\n <\/span>Il programma comprende film a medio\/alto budget realizzati in studi professionali, animazioni interamente indipendenti, saggi realizzati nelle migliori scuole di animazione, video musicali, epigrammi animati e “formanima” (animazioni astratte e sperimentali). Il festival, da subito in versione itinerante, viene presentato dapprima in diversi centri della Polonia, per poi iniziare un tour mondiale che ha toccato lo scorso anno 34 citt\u00e0 di 5 continenti.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

For the fourth consecutive year On the Road Film Festival \/ Detour cinema has the pleasure of hosting O!PLA ANIMATION ACROSS THE BORDERS 2017, an amazing selection of contemporary animation films realized by talented polish authors. Founder and artistic director Piotr Kardas will meet the audience before the screening. With the collaboration of Istituto Polacco di Roma (Polish Institute in Rome).

O!PLA THE FESTIVAL OF POLISH ANIMATION is the fully independent cultural project, whom 4. edition was held in 69. Polish cities (21.03 \u2013 15.05.2016). At O!PLA only audience – from every participated cities – decide about the winners! O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS is a “cross-section program” guiding by the whole contemporary Polish animation for audience in age 16+. O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS include: films with big budget\/made in professional studios; fully independent animations; films made in school (graduation films); animated music videos; \u201canimated epigrams\u201d (very short movies) and \u201cFORMANIMA\u201d (experimental and abstract animations). From the very beginning, the main aim of O!PLA is (re)build relations between audience and artists, and reaching out with the art of animation especially to smaller centers in the Poland and all around the world. Previous edition of O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS was presented in 34 cities at 5 continents. The initiator and main organizer of O!PLA is Animation Across Borders (Piotr Kardas, Director\/Artistic Director).<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“Magic Forest\u201d is a brief tale about the charms and temptations of an enchanted forest. The film tells a story of two friends and their amazing adventure. One day they embark on a trip to the woods to try out some magic mushrooms. Enthusiastic and curious they finally reach their destination and indulge themselves in the experience. They dance, sing and fly among birds in the clouds… Unfortunately, this perfect idyll ends when the influence of the mushrooms ceases. In fact, Magic Forest serves us a story about a friendship put to the test; fellow feelings which last only until problems arise. It is also a reflection on substance abuse, showing how easy it is to cross the fine line to addiction.
