Ambientato tra Parigi, Praga, Norimberga, Manchester, nella campagna polacca e il litorale romano, Nico, 1988 \u00e8 un road-movie dedicato agli ultimi anni di Christa P\u00e4ffgen, in arte Nico. Musa di Andy Warhol, cantante dei Velvet Underground e donna dalla bellezza leggendaria, Nico vive una seconda vita dopo la storia che tutti conoscono, quando inizia la sua carriera da solista. Nico, 1988 racconta gli ultimi tour di Nico e della band che l\u2019accompagnava in giro per l\u2019Europa negli anni \u201980: anni in cui la \u201csacerdotessa delle tenebre\u201d, cos\u00ec veniva chiamata, ritrova se stessa, liberandosi del peso della sua bellezza e ricostruendo un rapporto con il suo unico figlio dimenticato. \u00c8 la storia di una rinascita, di un\u2019artista, di una madre, di una donna oltre la sua icona.

Struggling with demons and the consequences of a muddled life, she longs to rebuild a relationship with her son, whose custody she lost long ago.<\/span><\/p>\n
