Oltre al suo lavoro alla macelleria, la quarantenne Martine ha dedicato tutta la sua vita alla piccola orchestra del suo villaggio, nella quale ha il ruolo di majorette insieme alla figlia di undici anni, Anais. Quando nota, con sommo dispiacere, che la band non ispira pi\u00f9 Anais, Martine decide di fare tutto ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 in suo potere per mantenere una scintilla nei suoi occhi tentando di partecipare a una parata grande e prestigiosa, portando la propria troupe e Anais con s\u00e9 lungo la strada della disillusione.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides her work at the slaughterhouse, forty-year-old Martine has devoted all her life to her little brass band, in which she’s a majorette with her eleven-year-old daughter, Ana\u00efs. When she notices, to her deep disappointment, that the band no longer inspires Ana\u00efs, Martine decides to do everything within her powers to maintain a sparkle in her daughter’s eyes by attempting to participate in a big and prestigious parade, taking her troupe and Ana\u00efs along with her on the road of disillusionment.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Leanne Morales ha 18 anni e viene dal sud delle Filippine. TerminiTv l’ha incontrata in metro a Manila, dove Leanne \u00e8 andata per studiare balletto classico. Nel breve video, realizzato nell’agosto 2018, Leanne, per la prima volta nella sua vita, danza in un luogo di passaggio, all’entrata della metro Katipunan. “Katipunan” \u00e8 anche il nome della mobilitazione filippina contro il dominio coloniale spagnolo. L’idea \u00e8 che la nuova rivoluzione nasce in come viviamo e ci esprimiamo negli spazi pubblici. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Leanne Morales is 18 years old and she wants to become a ballet dancer. She went from her hometown in Mindanao to the capital city, Manila, where TerminiTv met her in the metro, and asked her to perform in public. This video is part of a series of videos dedicated to encounters in metro and stations. The name of this metro in particular, “Katipunan”, is also the name of the Filipino movement that fought against Spanish colonialism. The concept is that the new revolution is about freedom of movement and free expression in public places.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Negli ultimi anni il Myanmar ha iniziato a produrre ed esportare oppio in tutta l’Asia. L’oppio e l’eroina stanno creando danni irreparabili nel tessuto sociale birmano e nei paesi limitrofi, come il Nagaland.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The scourge of opium in the border villages between India and Burma where in this remote area forgotten by both governments, without any checks and prevention by the authorities, the consumption of opium has spread so rapidly as to make one-third of men have become slave of opium, creating a hard vacuum in the fabric of the society. The situation is now dramatic and critical, but is not well known. But what will happen In a few years?
