Non un film ma un’esperienza profonda collettiva, un lavoro di ricerca ricco di storia, cultura e di significato, e di un’estetica al di l\u00e0 dei canoni comuni.  <\/span>La tempesta giunge dopo un duro giorno di lavoro nei campi. Quando la pioggia si calma, la vita germoglia dalla terra prima arida. I frutti crescono e maturano, sopravvivono alle malattie e diventano le mele che daranno vita al Sidro. Poi arriva il tempo della mietitura, di brindare e celebrare l’amore. Una storia sul ciclo della vita, sulla lotta per la sopravvivenza, dove il passare del tempo \u00e8 scandito dal corso naturale. E la danza \u00e8 la lingua scelta per raccontare la storia. La musica accompagna la routine quotidiana: la vita \u00e8 ritmo! Temi universali, qui vestiti di simbologie particolari. Simbologie che mostrano l’ipnotico universo delle danze tradizionali. Una canzone poetica sulla tradizione, la terra, le genti, i miti e i costumi. Un racconto sul miracolo dell’esistenza. <\/span><\/p>\n

ENG. The storm breaks after a hard day’s work in the fields. When the rain eases off life springs up from the previously barren land. Fruit grows and ripens, survives disease and becomes the apples which give life to cider. Then comes the time to harvest, offer toasts and celebrate love. A story about the cycle of life, the fight for survival. Where the passage of time is marked by the course of nature. And dance is the language chosen to tell its tale. Music accompanies daily routines: Life is rhythm! 
\nUniversal themes, dressed here with a particular symbology. Symbology which shows the hypnotic universe of traditional dance. A poetic song to tradition, the land, its people, myths and customs. A tale about the miracle of existence.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Il secondo lungometraggio del regista basco che, dopo il film onirico e surreale Sipo Phantasma, porta lo spettatore in viaggio nei dintorni di San Sebasti\u00e1n, la sua citt\u00e0, dove il fiorente paesaggio naturale si snoda tra quel che resta di un mondo industriale e alienato ormai passato.  Una periferia tra natura e industria quindi, dove vivono i personaggi di sempre con problemi archetipici irrisolti e molti giovani nativi che vogliono andar via. A tutti loro si sono affiancati i nuovi ospiti di terre lontane ormai perfettamente intergrati. Tra questi il protagonista del film, un marocchino basco che vive alla giornata sulla sua moto. <\/span><\/p>\n

ENG. Khalil is a rootless young man who lives in the city\u2019s margins, where industrial estates bank onto the river and the marsh. He survives as well as he can, spending his days with a poacher who shares a house on the riverbank with a brother he has not talked to for years. On the shores of the marsh the tides mark the time for love and indifference, friendship and revenge.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
