Pi\u00f9 volte respinto, lo scienziato Einar Norsen conquista il cuore dell’affascinante Claire Lescot, corteggiatissima cantante, dopo aver simulato il suicidio in un incidente automobilistico. Il rajah Djorah de Nopur, altro sfortunato spasimante, accecato dalla gelosia, provoca la morte della donna, ma Norsen, lavorando in un avveniristico laboratorio ospitato in uno strano palazzo isolato da un giardino, le restituisce la vita.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike Cooper (Reading, Uk) classe 1942, \u00e8 musicista, compositore, cantante, autore, improvvisatore, chitarrista slide, \u201ccollagiste\u201d del suono, artista radiofonico, architetto del suono e performer per film muti. Sperimentatore raffinato, agli inizi degli anni Settanta ha rilasciato dischi fondamentali per il movimento avant blues e rimasterizzati nel 2014. Negli anni Novanta ha virato verso la musica hawaiana, mischiandola con le sonorit\u00e0 polinesiane e il blues, con la collaborazione di musicisti come Arthur Lyman e Viv Dogan Corringham, vere e proprie istituzioni della musica dell\u2019arcipelago. Residente a Roma, colleziona camicie hawaiane. Il 5 ottobre 2018 \u00e8 uscito il suo nuovo album Tropical Gothic.<\/span><\/p>\n

When she mocks at him, he leaves her house with the declared intention to kill himself… But the story is much less important than the scenery : this movie intended to be a manifesto of the modern decorative arts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike Cooper. For the past 25 years he has composed and performed worldwide at festivals, cinemas and other venues with Live Music For Classic and Contemporary Silent Films. Among them F.W.Murnau\u2019s Tabu; W.S.Van Dyke\u2019s White Shadows In The South Seas; Legong by Henry de La Falaise and Fratello Mare by Folco Quilici, all performed solo, plus Eisenstein\u2019s Que Viva Mexico scored for a small orchestra. Both White Shadows and Fratello Mare have been released as c.d. and vinyl lp records.<\/span><\/p>\n
