Come il riluttante comandante Farrusco, che ha deciso di schierarsi con i pi\u00f9 deboli, o l\u2019affascinante guerrigliera Carlota, che anzich\u00e9 sparare alle persone vorrebbe guarirle\u2026 Finch\u00e9, nei suoi peregrinaggi, il giornalista entra in possesso di una notizia che, se divulgata, potrebbe cambiare le sorti della guerra fredda e causare la morte di migliaia di persone. Il suo dovere di cronista gli imporrebbe di diffonderla, ma come pu\u00f2 la sua coscienza sopportare un simile peso?<\/span><\/p>\n

Ra\u00fal de la Fuente e Damian Nenow adattano il reportage-capolavoro di Kapu\u015bci\u0144ski in un racconto emozionante e coinvolgente, in cui spettacolari sequenze animate si alternano a interviste in live action ai veri protagonisti.
\nE se i sopravvissuti parlano alle telecamere, i caduti non sono perduti per sempre: la memoria di chi era con loro, gli scritti di chi li ha raccontati, quell\u2019ultima foto che li ritrae fanno s\u00ec che chi \u00e8 scomparso non sia dimenticato. E permettono alle molte vittime della Storia di vivere ancora un giorno.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ENG. <\/span><\/em><\/span>Ryszard Kapuscinski was one of the 20th century\u2019s principal and most colourful war reporters. He reported on 27 revolutions during his career, was imprisoned 40 times and sentenced to death four times. He was primarily active in Africa as a correspondent for a Polish news agency. When civil war erupted in Angola in 1975, he was the only foreign reporter on the ground. His book Another Day of Life describes how that diamond and oil-rich country was used as a Cold War pawn.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Kapuscinski\u2019s writing style is subjective, sometimes even surreal. This animated adaptation does complete justice to his form of literary reportage. Hallucinatory impressions of chaotic firefights are recorded in a graphic-novel-like style. Interviews with the main characters were made in real life, 40 years later \u2013 some have become successful, others have gone mad. This is a story, but no work of fiction.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Dynamic animation and action scenes are intertwined in Another Day of Life with documentary sequences, which give the audience a chance to meet the characters 40 years after the events portrayed in the movie. Such an approach introduces additional depth and lends credibility to the world depicted in the animation.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
