ITA (scroll fon ENG) Parvana \u00e8 una ragazza di 11 anni cresciuta sotto il regime talebano nella Kabul del 2001, dove le donne non possono uscire di casa senza un uomo. Quando il padre viene ingiustamente arrestato con la sola accusa di essere un intellettuale, Parvana decide di tagliarsi i capelli e travestirsi da ragazzo per poter lavorare e cos\u00ec occuparsi della sua famiglia. Questa audace ragazzina mette a rischio la propria vita traendo forza proprio da quelle storie che il pap\u00e0 le raccontava per farle conoscere la cultura e la bellezza dell\u2019Afghanistan.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\r\n

When her father is arrested without warning for being an intellectual, Parvana’s mother is left alone to care for their three children. Banned from going out in public without a man, Parvana\u2019s mother risks arrest herself as she travels to the local prison and demands her husband\u2019s release, only to end up being beaten and turned away. <\/span><\/div>\r\n
As the family becomes desperate for food, Parvana must cut off her hair and disguise herself as a boy so that she can venture out in public and become the breadwinner for her family. She meets a girl named Shauzia who is also dressed as a boy for the same reason…<\/span><\/div>\r\n
