ITA. Gli Ondekoza sono un gruppo giapponese di percussionisti professionisti di Taiko. Partendo dalle fondazione del gruppo, avvenuta a Sado, prefettura di Niigat, se ne descrive la vita tra l’allenamento fisico e le prove sull’isola, ai vari spettacoli nei luoghi dove si esibiscono e dove incontrano il loro pubblico.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The film tells the story of the co-founding members of Ondekoza, a group of young musician, living communally in Sado Island who created the Japanese traditional taiko drumming style that has since become internationally famous. Members went on to become the legendary Kodo Drummers of Japan. ITA. Marcello “Tot\u00f2” e suo figlio Ninetto vagano per le periferie e le campagne circostanti la citt\u00e0 di Roma. Durante il loro cammino incontrano un corvo. Come viene precisato durante il film da una didascalia: \u00abPer chi avesse dei dubbi o si fosse distratto, ricordiamo che il corvo \u00e8 un intellettuale di sinistra – diciamo cos\u00ec – di prima della morte di Palmiro Togliatti.\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Il corvo narra loro il racconto di Ciccillo e Ninetto (anch’essi interpretati da Tot\u00f2 e Ninetto), due frati francescani cui san Francesco ordina d’evangelizzare i falchi e i passeri.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENG. <\/span><\/em><\/span>The Hawks and the Sparrows<\/b><\/i> (literally “Birds of prey and Little Birds”) is a 1966 Italian film directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. It was entered into the 1966 Cannes Film Festival where a “Special Mention” was made of Tot\u00f2, for his acting performance.[1]<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

The film can be described as partially neorealist, and deals with Marxist concerns about poverty and class-conflict. It features the popular Italian comic-actor Tot\u00f2 accompanied on a journey by his son (played by Ninetto Davoli).<\/span><\/p>\n

ITA. 1973: dopo tre album incisi in poco meno di un lustro (The Stooges, Fun House e Raw Power), un’esperienza devastante di live e una dipendenza da stupefacenti che ne compromise le performance, la band statunitense The Stooges interruppe il proprio percorso, evitata come la peste dalle case discografiche per le scarse vendite e per un performer scandaloso, esibizionista, rettiliano: Iggy Pop. La loro importanza di band sperimentatrice, per il sound ipnotico, sporco, disturbante, emerger\u00e0 gradualmente negli anni. Considerati “spazzatura” diventeranno oro nell’era iconoclastica del punk: testi ai minimi termini, ripetizione di pochi accordi base, esecuzione approssimativa, programmatica sgradevolezza.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENG. The Stooges found little success during the first phase of their career, recording three albums that did not sell as well as their record companies expected, and performing for audiences that were largely indifferent or hostile. They broke up in 1974, and the band members went their separate ways with vocalist Pop establishing a moderately successful solo career. In time, the Stooges proved highly influential on the development of punk rock in the 1970s.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
