ITA. Nel 1975 dopo il successo di El Topo e La montagna sacra Alejandro Jodorowsky era il cineasta intellettuale pi\u00f9 ricercato del mondo, aveva carta bianca e quello che voleva era realizzare il film pi\u00f9 importante della storia del cinema, traendo spunto dai romanzi della saga di Dune di Frank Herbert. Il suo Dune, doveva essere un film rivoluzionario in grado di cambiare la mentalit\u00e0 delle giovani generazioni fornendo nuovi modelli di riferimento.
\nPer fare questo il regista aveva coinvolto un team incredibile che comprendeva i designer H.R. Giger, Moebius e Chris Foss oltre all\u2019esperto di effetti speciali Dan O\u2019Bannon, le musiche dei Pink Floyd e attori come David Carradine, Mick Jagger, Salvador Dal\u00ec e Orson Welles.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1975, Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowsky, whose films EL TOPO and THE HOLY MOUNTAIN launched and ultimately defined the midnight movie phenomenon, began work on his most ambitious project yet. Starring his own 12 year old son Brontis alongside Orson Welles, Mick Jagger, David Carradine and Salvador Dali, featuring music by Pink Floyd and art by some of the most provocative talents of the era, including HR Giger and Jean \u2018Moebius\u2019 Giraud, Jodorowsky\u2019s adaptation of Frank Herbert\u2019s classic sci-fi novel DUNE was poised to change cinema forever.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For two years, Jodo and his team of \u201cspiritual warriors\u201d worked night and day on the massive task of creating the fabulous world of DUNE: over 3,000 storyboards, numerous paintings, incredible costumes, and an outrageous, moving and powerful script.<\/span><\/p>\n
