Da un imbarazzante incontro tra sconosciuti emerge un legame intimo e un viaggio che cambia per sempre Tereek.<\/p>\n

The first film to star an actor who is deaf and blind, is a coming of age story that follows Tereek, a teen wandering the streets of New York, desperate for a place to crash when he encounters Artie, a blind and deaf man, who needs some help getting home. Il confronto con il custode del condominio lo spinger\u00e0 a non fermarsi semplicemente sulla soglia di casa.<\/p>\n

ENG. Mattia is a guy in a wheelchair who has to go home, but the elevator in his building is stuck. Mattia decides to climb up the stairs until he reaches home. The confrontation with the caretaker of the apartment building will push him not to simply stop on the doorstep.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ITA. Questo cortometraggio \u00e8 tratto da una poesia che ho scritto ricordando le due settimane trascorse a New York, In occasione della mia prima mostra fotografica all’estero. Ho quasi dimenticato questo testo, che stranamente avevo scritto direttamente in inglese durante una notte febbrile, finch\u00e9 non mi \u00e8 tornato in mente quando sono andato in Portogallo e ho iniziato a sognare l’America dall’altra parte del solitario Atlantico. Cos\u00ec, all’improvviso ho iniziato a fare riprese ispirate alla poesia, e ho sentito che il film avrebbe dovuto includere almeno alcune delle fotografie che avevo scattato a New York 15 anni prima, intrecciando attraverso il cinema diversi periodi della mia vita e diversi linguaggi artistici in quello che \u00e8 pi\u00f9 un ritratto dell’interiorit\u00e0 psichica che un documentario.<\/p>\n

ENG. This short film is based on a poem I wrote remembering the two weeks I spent in New York, on the occasion of my first photo exhibition overseas. I almost forgot this piece of writing, which I had unusually written directly in English during a long feverish night, until it came back to my mind fifteen years later when I went to Portugal and I started dreaming about America on the other side of the lonely Atlantic. So, I suddenly started taking filmic shots inspired by the poem, and later included in the editing a few of the photographs I took in New York 15 years before, interlacing through film-making different periods of my life and different artistic languages in what is more a portrait of psychic interior than a documentary.<\/p>\n
