Un originale e inclassificabile \u2018documentario\u2019 alla ricerca della villa sulla costa basca in cui Man Ray visse e realizz\u00f2 il suo celebre cinepoema. In ossequio al credo surrealista il regista si lascia guidare dal caso in un viaggio in cui il cammino si impone alla meta, incrociando le tombe di un clown, un\u2019utranovantenne nobildonna rumena e molte altre storie misteriose e affascinanti.<\/span><\/p>\n

An avant-garde film by Man Ray called Emak Bakia inspires this story of a quest. The house near Biarritz where Man Ray\u2019s film was shot in 1926 bore that peculiar name and the creator of this new film decided to undertake a search on foot to find it. Only three views of that mansion exist: the image of its front door, two columns of a window, and a section of nearby coast. A search based on these old images would not be easy. There was nothing listed in the archives and no one today remembers the house.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
