O!PLA Festival polacco del cinema di animazione \u00e8 un progetto completamente indipendente ideato e curato da Piotr Kardas di Animation Across Borders. Il cuore del festival \u00e8 una competizione di lavori contemporanei di animazione polacca in cui \u00e8 il pubblico a decretare i vincitori. Fin dale sue origini, il principale obiettivo di O!PLA \u00e8 (ri)costruire relazioni tra il pubblico e gli artisti, e diffondere l\u2019arte del film d’animazione. Inoltre, O!PLA, grazie a proiezioni speciali per spettatori di tutte le et\u00e0, seminari, incontri con artisti e workshop di animazione, ha una dimensione educativa central. E attraverso il progetto parallelo O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS il festival diventa itinerante anche all\u2019estero. La terza edizione di O!PLA si terr\u00e0 dal 21.03 al 31.05.2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

O!PLA – THE FESTIVAL OF POLISH ANIMATION is the fully independent project created and powered by Animation Across Borders (Piotr Kardas). The bases is a competition of contemporary Polish animations in which only audience decide about the winners. From the very beginning, the main aim of O!PLA is (re)build relations between audience and artists, and reaching out with the art of animation especially to smaller centers in Poland. Moreover, O!PLA – thanks to special screenings for viewers of all ages, lectures, meetings with artists and animation workshops – has a significant educational dimension. And thanks to O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS project can promote the art of Polish animation also abroad. The third edition of O!PLA will be held 21.03 \u2013 31.05.2015.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Una rara malattia, Xeroderma Pigmentosum, li costringe a vivere isolati, lontani dal mondo diurno dei loro coetanei.\u00a0Questo non accade per\u00f2 a Camp Sundown, un campo estivo nello stato di New York creato dall’immaginazione e dalla tenacia dei loro genitori, che raccoglie pazienti da tutto il mondo.\u00a0Qui prende forma un universo rovesciato, colmo d’incanto. La vita di questa piccola comunit\u00e0 notturna si intreccia con i sogni che prendono forma nell’animazione, ideata dagli stessi bambini. For a few children sun is a fatal enemy. Xeroderma Pigmentosum is a rare illness that forces them to live far from any sunlight, completely isolated from the daytime life of their peers.\u00a0<\/em>This doesn’t happen however at Camp Sundown, a summer camp in New York State conceived and established by the determination of their parents. This camp welcomes child patients from all over the world. Here an inverted universe, full of enchantment, flourishes.\u00a0<\/em>The life of this small nocturnal community is interwoven with the animated dreams conceived by the children themselves. Both parents and children share the same desire: to fully live out their lives, despite the illness.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
