Ahmad \u00e9 un rifugiato siriano negli Stati Uniti che si arrangia con impieghi precari. Il suo sogno \u00e8 mettersi in proprio e avviare un servizio di taxi. Quando perde il lavoro alla pompa di benzina, inizia a navigare a vista nel sistema economico americano. L\u2019ottimismo e la fiducia con cui Ahmad ha sempre affrontato la vita vengono messi a dura prova. Una sensazione crescente di disperazione comincia a insinuarsi nelle sue relazioni, nella fede religiosa e nel senso di autostima mentre il suo sogno americano sembra scivolare via. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ahmad is a refugee from Syria, holding wishes of starting his own taxi service. When he loses his menial employment at a gas station, he attempts to navigate through the current American economy with optimism. Soon, reality settles in as consistent work is scarce. An impression of hopelessness slowly begins to take a toll on his relationships, faith, and sense of self, with his dream slipping quickly from his grasp.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
